Summer Is Nigh,

June 2025

Stormy Weather crashes into June like its no one's business but its own. Late Spring's grasp slowly gives way and the warmth of Summer trickles in as Cottonwoods let fly their precious snowy cargo. Days of languid heat approach when the Solstice climaxes and its nothing but sun-filled days and firefly nights full of fireworks and saxophones. Barefoot we trod, sultry the days linger.

Sink in and let the green grass and shifting sand envelop you. Enjoy the comforts of shade under leafy tree friends. Drink in Dandelion Wine, sweet Lemonade, the Watermelons are full and bursting, juices dripping down our arms. A rainbow of colors spread themselves all over to celebrate the season of love and peace, movement and inertia, rest and relaxation leading us down the path to the harvest.

Go to the Faire, where worlds collide and masquerades bring enlightenment to souls needing respite by falling down the rabbit hole. Let yourself go, sway, be open to all that surrounds you. Give in to temptation, desire, as bright as the layers of sunset disappearing behind the mountains or sinking into the sea. Summer is nigh.
